As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support hospital operations, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be able to restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations, including patient or visitor disturbances, medical emergencies, and facility-related concerns, in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while following site-specific access-control procedures.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and response activities to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
