Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment, as required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, badge verification, and/or direction-giving while supporting established site protocols and the needs of the location.
• Support hospital and clinic operations by communicating with staff during medical-related situations, de-escalating conflicts when appropriate, and helping to maintain order in high-traffic areas.
