As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use a computer or tablet as needed. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
  • Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures while helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, storage, and administrative areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions, damaged access-control equipment, and potential security-related concerns.
