As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badges, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
  • Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, coordinate access for deliveries and shipments, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
