As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatcher Driver in Montgomery, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and camera systems from the dispatch post, document incoming information, and communicate updates to on-site personnel and/or management.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate appropriate security-related and/or property response actions.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, activity reports, and key communications related to daily operations, after-hours issues, and/or unusual activity.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by directing personnel to priority areas, tracking status checks, and relaying information about building access concerns, maintenance issues, and/or perimeter-related observations.
