Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support tasks, and when appropriate, emergency response communications in a government location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate routine and urgent security-related responses by gathering key details, relaying information to appropriate personnel, and tracking incidents through completion.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records, including incident details, shift activity, and communication updates in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Support regular and random patrol activity by communicating assignments, monitoring status checks, and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or critical situations to the appropriate contacts.
