Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, releases, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notification protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, process areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report access-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and communications accurately, and coordinate with site personnel and emergency responders when directed.
