Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and routine requests, documenting and communicating information to appropriate personnel.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel and/or emergency resources in response to incidents, critical situations, and service requests while remaining calm and solution-focused.
  • Maintain accurate incident logs, dispatch records, and other required reports in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor access points, cameras, and other communication systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
