About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher at a financial institution location, you will monitor alarm activity, coordinate security-related communications, document incidents, and support timely responses to emerging situations. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining clear communication with onsite personnel and partners. Requirements

  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, access control systems, and other dispatch communications; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter when assigned, reporting observed security-related concerns for follow-up.
