As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential property.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and incidents accurately.
Communicate with property management, residents, and emergency responders as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
