Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Have access control or badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology and communications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support compliance with site policies.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and report irregular conditions.
  • Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs accurately while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.
