About The Position

As an Access Control Officer supporting food/beverage and logistics/distribution locations, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain accurate access records. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at food and beverage production and logistics distribution locations.
• Control access to facilities by verifying employee, visitor, contractor, and delivery driver credentials; issuing visitor passes; and maintaining required entry records.
• Monitor entry and exit points, delivery areas, and vehicle traffic to help deter unauthorized access and support site access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, warehouse, production areas, loading docks, and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
