Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a secure environment. You will use access-control systems and alarm panels, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and contractor entry, issuing credentials as authorized, and maintaining accurate access logs.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate gate access for deliveries and shipments, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
