You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This armed driving role requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of aircraft operations areas, facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries in an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs accurately and promptly.
