Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, direct drivers to designated areas, and communicate access instructions to support orderly facility operations.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report security-related issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
