Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, where you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, direct approved deliveries and visitors to designated areas, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, the business, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
