Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at entry and exit points by checking credentials, logging visitors, and/or verifying deliveries and contractor access in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, loading zones, and other assigned access points, as conditions vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations by observing activity, documenting concerns, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and drivers.
