About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, and/or other designated access points to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and respond to security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, policy violations, and/or critical situations by contacting the appropriate site contacts, assisting with emergency response activities, and completing clear incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, sales floor, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unsecured areas, and/or other conditions that may require attention.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or local responders as needed to support daily operations, relay important information, and help maintain compliance with post orders and location procedures.
