You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas in accordance with hospital procedures.
  • Issue, collect, and document visitor badges, temporary credentials, keys, and/or access devices as assigned.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
