As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and assist with visitor interactions. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization and credentials, and maintain visitor and vendor access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access to the property by screening visitors, directing authorized individuals, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
