Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to site policies and changing working conditions.
  • Support truck, delivery, and/or contractor access procedures by reviewing authorization, directing traffic flow at designated access points, and reporting unusual activity or security-related issues.
