As a Security Officer Patrol Investigator in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access activity, respond to alarms and/or site concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card/license is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals in accordance with post instructions.
Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and emergency personnel as needed.
