As a Security Officer Patrol Investigator in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access activity, respond to alarms and/or site concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals in accordance with post instructions.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and emergency personnel as needed.
