As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Rover in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe store activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unusual conditions to site leadership according to post orders.
• Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident response, and/or communicating professionally with staff, visitors, and customers.
