About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Operations in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, donors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
  • Assist with maintaining an orderly healthcare environment by reporting hazards, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
