About The Position
As a Security Officer - Overnight Dedicated Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the residential community, observe and report unusual activity, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly residential environment by communicating professionally with residents, visitors, property staff, and Allied Universal leadership.
