About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents. You will communicate with employees, visitors, and emergency personnel while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain required entry records, and direct individuals according to facility protocols.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned pharmaceutical facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Support controlled access to restricted areas and assist with compliance with site procedures for employees, vendors, deliveries, and visitors.
