Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
Monitor dispatch communications, alarm activity, cameras, and/or access control systems, and relay information to site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency services in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations by documenting details, coordinating resources, and communicating updates to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, noting unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or access issues for follow-up.
Complete logs, reports, and incident records related to dispatch activity, visitor traffic, deliveries, and/or after-hours calls while following site-specific procedures.
