About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Follow required personal protective equipment, hazardous-material access, and site-specific operating requirements while performing assigned duties.
