As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report suspicious activity or unauthorized entry attempts.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
