As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns clearly and promptly, and report maintenance, access control, or perimeter issues to the appropriate personnel.
