About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in HAMLIN, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activity.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal leadership, designated site contacts, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents or unusual activity.
