About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in HAMLIN, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activity.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal leadership, designated site contacts, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents or unusual activity.
