As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols and a primarily driving post, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support residents and property staff with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a reliable and caring approach to each shift.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or property-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and/or vendors regarding property rules and site expectations.
  • Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior observed during patrols.
