As a Security Officer Medical Patrol Driver in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Hospital vaccinations are required.
  • Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient care areas, public spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requests for assistance, disturbances, medical-related emergencies, and access-control concerns.
  • Assist with monitoring access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
