As a Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol financial institution and commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, agility, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, financial-services locations, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, property management, and responding public-service agencies while supporting a welcoming environment.
