As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • EMT certification is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Previous firefighting experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, rail or shipping areas, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns through clear and timely reports.
