About The Position

As a Security Officer Emergency Medical Patrol Driver in Menlo Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government research location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a current EMT certification.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government research location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, laboratories, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support a professional environment.
