Job Description As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in Burbank, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the manufacturing and industrial location, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, including responding to questions or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
Support emergency response activities as needed, communicating promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift.
