As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves managing access points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals as they enter or exit the facility, following site-specific protocols established by Allied Universal.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify potential concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following company and client procedures for reporting and escalation.
Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or emergencies according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarm panels, and access control devices as directed.
Follow emergency response procedures for fire, medical, and/or other critical events as required on-site.
Collaborate with team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
