In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a secure environment. You will interact with visitors and employees, provide outstanding customer service, and use your observation skills to maintain a visible presence. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering and exiting the location.
Assist with maintaining order by observing and reporting any suspicious or unauthorized activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Help to deter unwanted incidents by conducting regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter.
Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific protocols and procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing questions, offering directions, and assisting as needed while upholding security-related procedures.
Document and report all observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Support emergency response activities as directed, helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
