As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and maintain a visible presence, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated, people-first team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control processes and provide customer service while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct identification and verification checks in accordance with established guidelines for the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of access control activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
