As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies for access control, including the use of electronic systems or manual logs as appropriate for the environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations involving access control in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related concerns.
Collaborate with manufacturing and industrial staff to maintain awareness of operational schedules, shift changes, and high-traffic periods to support access control measures.
Assist Allied Universal management and site leadership with incident reporting, documentation, and emergency response activities as needed.
