As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a manufacturing and industrial location by monitoring access control points and patrolling assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence, assist with visitor management, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors as per site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries related to access control and site navigation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Document all access control activities, incidents, and observations in daily logs and/or incident reports as required by site policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders when necessary to support emergency response activities.
Maintain awareness of all site-specific policies and procedures relevant to access control within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
