As a Security Officer Dispatch in Rapid City, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor systems, coordinate responses to alarms and calls, support access activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help promote a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while using technology to support daily security-related operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, answering calls, and communicating security-related information in a professional manner.
• Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other communication systems to receive reports, document activity, and dispatch appropriate personnel to locations across the property.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate emergency response activities and/or follow-up communication.
• Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support accurate documentation of daily operations, unusual activity, and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while staying prepared to support dispatch functions in a commercial real estate location.
