In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and designated access points, verifying credentials, logging visitor and/or vehicle activity, and following post orders for deliveries and restricted areas.
• Support daily operations at a logistics and distribution location by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and employee traffic, while communicating clearly with site personnel regarding incidents and/or policy violations.
