This position is responsible for learning and accurately performing all functions associated with sorting indicia mail to the lowest possible postal discount level, in accordance with USPS DMM/CSA regulations. The role involves operating postal banding equipment and shrink wrap finishing machinery, preparing postal pallets, and using job manifests to identify and correct sortation issues. The Mailing Coordinator will also organize and deliver quality control flags, maintain sortation and quality logs, and assist with return mail functions and meter operations as needed. A key aspect of this role is to assist the team in meeting same-day Service Level Agreements (SLAs). NiSource is a public utility that requires continuous service to customers, so employees may be asked to work outside normal hours and perform tasks outside their normal responsibilities to support emergency operations.
