As a Security Officer Logistics Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support employees, visitors, and operations with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control and other security-related protocols at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading zones, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and/or report suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and help to support the orderly movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Complete routine reports, incident notes, and shift activity logs, and communicate important updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site personnel.
