Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and/or visitor management activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, trailers, and/or loading area access to help support authorized movement of people and property in accordance with post orders and client policies.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and/or warehouse exterior to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions that need attention.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and access records related to deliveries, visitor activity, and/or transport traffic while following Allied Universal standards and site procedures.
