As a Security Officer - Logistics Access in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, assisting with access control, credential checks, and/or visitor processing in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, observing trailer and vehicle activity, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
