About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Receptionist in Lake Mary, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors, verifying credentials, issuing access materials, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Support front desk operations within a financial institution location by answering inquiries, directing foot traffic, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns through proper channels.
