As a Security Officer Lobby Receptionist in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will welcome guests, manage access, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor interactions, and supporting security-related protocols.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and assist with sign-in and badging processes in accordance with property guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support tenant and guest needs while maintaining awareness of lobby activity and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Complete logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to front desk operations, access activity, and security-related events.
